Unusual Suspects the Musical

Have you ever felt like you’ve run out of dessert ideas or have become bored with making the same pies, cakes, and cookies?  That’s how I feel sometimes. At the holidays I bake a lot of pies like pumpkin spice, pecan, cherry, apple – a lot of our family favorites. And then of course it’s also time to bake cookies – oatmeal chocolate chip, sugar cookies shaped like Christmas trees, and the ever popular gingerbread cookies. But this year I was really looking to make something different. Not that I would completely forget about our sentimental favorites. It’s just that we had a few special gatherings planned and I wanted to try making something new & festive looking. Then I came across these perfect Mini Springform Pans and I knew exactly what to bake.

These adorable pans are just perfect for making some delicious mini-cheesecakes, which look amazing when you serve them on the dessert table. You can also make rich mini chocolate mousse cakes, or just about any of your favorites, adjusting the recipes to suit the size of the pans.
