What to do with all of those holiday leftovers? I had the Thanksgiving holiday meal at our home and when we were all in the kitchen cleaning up it was pretty comical trying to put the leftovers away since we couldn’t find the right covers to fit the different plastic containers in the cabinets. Plus some of the family wanted to bring some leftovers home, so we were forcing covers to fit or using aluminum foil and plastic wrap instead. Obviously it’s time I bought some real food storage containers but instead of plastic I’m going to buy glass food storage containers for my home.

The beauty of using glass for food storage is that the containers won’t become stained from sauces and other messy dishes. Plus the glass can go in the microwave for reheating foods. You can also store the food in the fridge or freezer and then wash the empty containers in the dishwasher when you’re done and they’ll still look as good as new.
