Glass Food Storage for Holiday Leftovers

What to do with all of those holiday leftovers? I had the Thanksgiving holiday meal at our home and when we were all in the kitchen cleaning up it was pretty comical trying to put the leftovers away since we couldn’t find the right covers to fit the different plastic containers in the cabinets. Plus some of the family wanted to bring some leftovers home, so we were forcing covers to fit or using aluminum foil and plastic wrap instead. Obviously it’s time I bought some real food storage containers but instead of plastic I’m going to buy glass food storage containers for my home. Tag: Cooking, Food & Wineadmin @ 6:06 pm

There are a lot of wonderful recipes available for making your own homemade bread. Have you ever felt like you’ve run out of dessert ideas or have become bored with making the same pies, cakes, and cookies?  That’s how I feel sometimes. At the holidays I bake a lot of pies like pumpkin spice, pecan, cherry, apple – a lot of our family favorites. And then of course it’s also time to bake cookies – oatmeal chocolate chip, sugar cookies shaped like Christmas trees, and the ever popular gingerbread cookies. But this year I was really looking to make something different. Not that I would completely forget about our sentimental favorites. It’s just that we had a few special gatherings planned and I wanted to try making something new & festive looking. Then I came across these perfect Mini Springform Pans and I knew exactly what to bake. Continue reading “Mini Springform Pans for Your Favorite Cheesecakes”
